Easter 2011

Easter..to my family it's all about celebrating all the silly things like eggs, and bunnies and chocolate. Most of doing it together as a family..
Night before Easter we have to dye Eggs because it is so much fun...NOT! Why as an adult am I such a hater of this hmm maybe because it is the one time a year I have to figure out how to boil the eggs (go ahead laugh) LOL! Really though do you know how many different ways there are?! What to do so they don't crack cold water first blah blah blah . Well I have to say it is worth watching the kids enjoy it so much :)

Easter Morning oh yes. That fluffy little bunny hasn't missed our house yet. Guess he doesn't have a naughty list . Just kidding. The boys deserve to have tons of candy don't you think.

Mr. Bunny this year had a sense of humor for sure. The kids got a kick out of the moustaches he put on there chocolate bunnies. I think he was just tired at 2 a.m. ( I think that is the time he prob arrived and had to make his own self laugh)

Easter afternoon... We spent at my sisters with my brother and my nieces too. Easter Egg Hunt at her place cause she lives in Valencia too but has about 5 more feet of backyard and that is a big difference here in Valencia.

And they're off!!

Caleb is very serious about his eggs.

Ash is to old for egg hunting now and it is so sad! She helps hide now.

Conor shared some eggs with Caleb I was so happy to have captured this moment. The kids and cousins really love each other and they show it often.

Nicky found the Golden egg! It was in Lee's pocket.. Silly Lee did it hurt when all the kids were ramming you trying to get the egg?! heehee

Easter was my mom's favorite holiday. As hard as each Easter is for me to not have her with us it really heals my heart to see the kids enjoy Easter. It is like watching her smile and laugh and just be happy for the day. If it wasn't for the boys and my nephew and nieces Easter would not be as joyful as those kids make it. The smiles of eggs and candy and family and just togetherness of this day really makes me smile. I hope everyone had a happy Easter too.
